No. There is no login and no sign-up: just open a game and play. To appear on a score leaderboard you pick a name at the moment you save it, and that does not create an account.

Yes. The site was built for phones first, with touch controls, and it works on tablets and computers too. On Android, tap “Full screen” before you start; on iPhone the game opens on a page of its own, because iOS does not allow full screen inside the page.

A few basic shortcuts repeat across games, like P to pause and M to turn the sound on and off. The movement controls and the actions specific to each game are explained on that game's page, and also on its start screen and its pause screen.

On the game's page: the description says what it is, the “How to play” section has the steps and the tips, and the controls section splits what to do on a phone from what to do on a computer.

No, but use an up-to-date version of Chrome, Safari, Firefox or Edge. The games use modern browser graphics (WebGL); on very old browsers they may not open at all.

That is the idea: one new creation a day. The Today's games page shows the edition of the day and the countdown to the next one. When nothing has come out yet that day, the page says so and shows the most recent games already up.

It is a game Selminha is still finishing. Its page already exists, with the idea and the description, the cover shows the “Coming soon” badge, and the play button only appears once the game is published.

“New today” is a game published today; “New release” is one that came out in the last 30 days; “In the catalog” are the older ones, still available; “Coming soon” is one that has not been published yet.

Use the search: the name of the game, words from the description, or the name of a category. Accents are optional.

Once per game, from 1 to 5 stars. You can change your rating later: the new one replaces the old and does not count as an extra vote.

The first time you rate something, your browser stores an anonymous identifier, and that is what tells the site the vote already exists. If you clear your browser data or use another device, the site sees a new player. There is also a daily cap on new votes per internet address, to keep abuse in check.

By the average rating weighted against the number of ratings, so a game with a single five-star vote does not jump ahead of one with many votes. Ties go to the number of ratings. The list shows the top 10, overall or in the category you pick, and each game competes in its main category.

Yes. They all come from players, are stored on the server, and the leaderboard is recalculated right away.

No. The stars are your opinion of the game. The score is the result of your run and shows up on that game's leaderboard, where you save a name of up to 10 letters. Inappropriate names are refused and the site asks for another one.

First, reload the page — Ctrl+F5 on a computer, pull down to refresh on a phone. If that does not do it, leave full screen and open the game's page again, check that your connection is steady, and switch off blockers or data-saver modes for a moment, since they can keep the game from loading. It is also worth trying another up-to-date browser. If nothing helps, write to Selminha on the Contact page and say which game, which device and which browser you used.
